“The University of Jordan brought together all segments of Jordanian society. It taught me how to engage with diversity, which helped shape my personality. Academically, I graduated top of my class and felt as if I had studied at one of the world’s leading universities.”

Maha Al-Baho, a graduate of Business Administration and Economics from the University of Jordan’s School of Business, is the CEO of JoPACC and a current member of the Jordanian Senate.

Maha is one of the pioneers of electronic payment systems in Jordan and a leading figure in the country’s financial sector. With over 30 years of experience spanning the Central Bank of Jordan and digital transformation firms, she played a key role in launching services like E-Fawateercom and CliQ, which have made financial services more accessible to citizens via their mobile phones.

Today, Maha leads a national company that manages the infrastructure for electronic payments and continues to support financial innovation and entrepreneurship. She believes that real impact starts with education, diversity, and meaningful engagement in university life.
