​He is Minister of Labor, a member of the Senate and a former member of the Jordanian Parliament. He previously served as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Finance Committee and is a member of the Royal Committee for the Modernization and Development of the Political System. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics.​
