He served as the Deputy CEO of Jordan Telecom Group - Orange Jordan, in addition to being the Executive Director of the Corporate and Enterprise sector.
Mr. Samirat held the position of CEO of the Jordanian Data Transfer Services Company - Orange Internet, and also chaired the board of directors of Petra Mobile Payment Services - Orange Money. He was a board member of Cairo Amman Bank, the International Data Center Authority, Sodetel Internet Company (Lebanon), the Edama Association, the Middle East Insurance Company, and the Board of Trustees of Princess Sumaya University for Technology.
Mr. Samirat was also a board member of Jordan Phosphate Mines Company, chairman of the Jordan Japan Fertilizers Company, and vice chairman of the Jordan Press Foundation - Al-Rai Newspaper. He held board membership in Zara Holding Company and Lightspeed Communications (Bahrain).
He served as the CEO of Wanadoo until it adopted the Orange brand. He established an exclusive partnership with Equant, making Global One the exclusive distributor for Equant in Jordan, and worked on rebranding Global One to Wanadoo at that time. He was also a co-founder of Siberia Jordan, where he held the position of Vice CEO and Commercial Director.
Mr. Samirat holds two master's degrees: one in Business Administration (MBA) from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) and the other in Communications Engineering, in addition to a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan.
